7:30–10:00 PMThe Grove is marking Canada Day with three veteran standup comedians who, not coincidentally, made their start in our Nation’s Capital. (Two of them still live there, while the other is now a resident of Kawartha Lakes!). Their many (and very Canadian) credits include appearances on CBC Radio’s The Debaters, Laugh Out Loud, Definitely Not The Opera, The Halifax and Winnipeg Comedy Festivals. Headliner Rick Currie was one of the staff writers for The Rick Mercer Report. Can ya get more Canadian—and funny—than this?

When she applied for a police background check, she discovered she had a record, courtesy of some very bad neighbours. And now she is considered a Person of Interest.

Marie Bottrell Sings Patsy Cline
